STLF-NA-TRD-REQ-0460 SatLife system support of full-dynamic bridging shall inform of the couples

RCST MAC@ Broadcast PID by using a C2P message (note that there is

no level 2 MMT in bridge mode so the system has to be informed of the PIDs

where broadcast is received):

 Message Type = 0x01 (Establish Request).

 Addressing type = 0x00 (source and destination MAC addresses).

 Channel Id = any, this field is tnt used, it is only needed by the originator of

the broadcast traffic and comes in the normal point-to-multipoint NCC-

initiated connection established on it.

 New Connection Type 0x08: point-to-multipoint RCST-Terminated.

 Source Address = MAC@ of the RCST sending the broadcast messages.

 Destination Address = ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff.

 Return stream identifier = PID used by the RCST sending the broadcast

messages.

 Return Profile: any value, not used.

Note that this message follows the same format as a point-to-multipoint

connection establish message initiated by the NCC.
